We’re looking for a senior UX/UI designer to join our headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC.

Our design and dev teams are characterized by a diligent focus on quality. We have a mature design process with great tools and solid suite of best practices to build on, as well as a strong technical leadership team.

At a minimum you should:

Be confident in all of facets of the design process, and exceptionally talented and skilled in Information Architecture design

Know how to drive a user experience from start-to-finish that delivers results

Be focused on user-centered design practices and have a fine eye for detail

Have ample experience in creating effective website IA designs

Be able to create beautiful, effective visual design mock-ups

Understand responsive design and be skilled at designing and communicating visual systems that developers can understand and build

Enjoy working with other team members

Be able to communicate your designs through wireframes, mock-ups, presentations and discussions

Required Background and Skills

5+ years in-depth knowledge and experience in UX, UI and visual design

Extensive knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centred design processes while working collaboratively with team members and customers

Skilled in standard design tools like Adobe CC and Sketch

Good task management skills

Ability to articulate and justify ideas and designs to clients

Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently

Your work would consist of:

Working with clients and team members to create wireframes, information architecture and high-fidelity visual mocks

Participating in key internal meetings including weekly status updates and planning sessions

Presenting designs to internal teams and clients

Utilizing typography, color, layout and composition to create visual interface designs

Work with clients and account managers to make revisions to designs

Constructively participate in critiques of your own work and the work of others

Using an understanding of the clients needs as motivation for design ideas
