Megan founded Alloy in 2006, growing the company into a digital marketing and communications powerhouse fueled by a team of highly skilled developers, designers and strategists. As CEO and creative director, Megan is involved in the strategy, design, implementation, and testing of every major project. While other people are still defining the problem, Megan is leaping ahead and exploring creative opportunities, constantly pushing for what's new and excelling at making “next” happen. The kind of person you’d want running FEMA when disaster hits, Megan is intelligent and insightful but also practical, meticulous, and driven.
Before starting Alloy, she was a designer at M Creative in Winston-Salem, NC, leading the strategy and visual design for web apps and sites within months of joining the team. She earned a degree in graphic design from the College of Design at North Carolina State University. She splits her time between the Winston-Salem office and the Denver office. She loves Denver because she thrives on the city’s 300+ days of sunshine and great restaurants. Megan is constantly discovering new places — during the week through behind-the-scenes views of the worlds of her clients, and on the weekends by boat, plane, foot, train, or car.
Public service and community involvment have always been core values of the company Megan has grown. She currently serves on the Community Advisory Board of Piedmont North Carolina’s public radio station, 88.5 WFDD. From 2012 until 2015, she served as the chairwoman of the board for Piedmont Environmental Alliance.
